We help young people rediscover the wonder of nature and the hope that is found there.

Outdoor all day, hands in the soil, exploring micro life, planting seeds, kneading dough, foraging food, eating together, asking questions.

“Nature doesn’t just calm them. Somehow, it restores something lost.”

There’s more

All Closer sessions help young people with positive attitudes towards the outdoor, food, and land story so that they may go and grow their own stories back at home.

Primary School

Engaging wonder and curiosity to bring the land to life. Our Primary School days take pupils on the amazing circular journey from soil to table and then back to the soil. We explore what makes healthy soil, from nematodes to earth worms, fungi to not digging, using microscopes and simply getting our hands soily.

Secondary School

Renewing the way we care and interact with the land. Our secondary school sessions offer a variety of ideas, from exploring woodland ecosystems to foraging, alternative provision programmes to work experience, outdoor career days to volunteer days. We primarily look to work with young people who have little access to the land and from vulnerable and impoverished backgrounds.
